Reflection on Climbing

I think that I did a very good job while climbing by reaching up and making sure my hips were close to the wall, I always tried to find the best foot or handhold available. I had nice balance making sure that my body weight wasn't shifted to one side, or uneven, also I think that I had good body control, I wasn't loosing footing often and had a strong grip. I think that I also did a good job belaying and making sure that the rope was nice and tight, also that I always had a hand on the rope and when she fell I made sure to have both hands on the rope pulling downwards. I also tried to make it a gentle journey down. Although one thing I think I can work on is trying to find different paths because on most of the ones I climb I always get stuck in one place and don't look for other ways to get around it. I learned a lot in this climbing session and know that it will be useful in the future.

I want to improve my muscle endurance of 3 sit-ups in 60 seconds by 7 and my 5 push-ups in 60 seconds by 5. I will do this over a period of 3 months, every day before I go to bed and when I wake up I will do 20 sit-ups and 20 push-ups until it feels easy, then I will increase the numbers. So I can do better during my soccer practice and cross country, because in soccer they have us warm up doing sit-ups, push-up, and sprints. Also it will help me in cross country because my muscles will last longer, and I won’t get as many cramps. My reward for achieving this goal would be buying myself a kindle.

Tori’s bean salad 24 oz of black beans (drained and rinsed) 24 oz of sweet kernel corn (drained and rinsed) 1 red bell pepper (finely chopped) 1 large handful cilantro leaves (finely chopped) 5 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lime juice ½ teaspoon of salt 1 teaspoon of ground coriander Mix well in large bowl, taste best after sitting in refrigeration 1-2 hours Was my snack healthy? Justify why you say yes or no. Think about what we’ve talked about sugar and fats. I think that my snack was very healthy because I had healthy ingredients like corn, beans, and pepper, and if you look above at the label it is low in sugar and is high in many things that we need like potassium and vitamin C. 2. When you choose a snack do you think about how healthy/unhealthy it is? Why or why not. No, because when I grab a snack I am always focused on what I am going to do next and I don't look at how good or how bad for me the thing I am grabbing is, though recentl...

Dear Abbie My close friend knew who I liked and told EVERYONE...I mean, even the teachers. I am so embarrassed. I confronted my friend and now she is giving me the silent treatment. What should I do? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Rejected Rana, It is common to argue with friends, I commonly do so to, and it’s because you both have different perspectives about things, and ways to interpret what the other is saying. Communication is not just hearing what the other person is saying it is understanding their emotion and meaning behind it, communication is a two-way street. It’s not only how you understand a message but how the person at the other end does, and if they received it in the exact way you wanted them to. Communication is more skills than just words it's also sending and receiving hints of tone, expressions, and gestures. I was researching lately and watched aTed-E...

1. What are your friendship strengths and challenges? My friendship strengths are that I am Loyal, Trustworthy, Kind, and Encouraging, and also Helpful. My friendship problems are that I may or tend to brag about my achievements that I am proud of, I also may tease a little too much, and I also can be too loud and talk a lot, so my friends don't get a chance to talk. I know that I need my alone time, and they can give it to me because after school I can relax and let go of the day's problems. But I also know that my friend needs connection so during the school day I can do that, but also be kind to myself and not go overboard and get stressed, I control the balance, for my needs and others. 2. Explain what you’ve learned about the movement pattern (Rotations) and concept (Tactics and Shots). In individual sports, I've found that you must rotate through to hit the ball to play the game when you rotate you move your whole body. You move your feet to...

Two things I think that I am doing well on my forearm swing is that I fallow through all the way to my shoulder starting low to high. The other thing I am doing well is that I am facing a forward position till I drop my back foot to hit the ball. Two things that I think that I can improve on is keeping my wrist firm and maybe dropping my back foot a bit more so I can get a better hit.
